The first goal of the match came from Serdar Gürler in the 37th minute, while Mame Thiam scored the second goal in the 53rd minute, securing the team's lead. With the final whistle, fans and players celebrated with great joy.

However, the happiness did not last long. Çorum FK player Attamah, who played in the match, received news at the end of the game that his father had passed away. Following this painful development, the team's celebrations were subdued.

Çorum FK head coach Uğur Uçar, in his statement regarding the matter, said, "We received sad news after the match. We learned that Attamah's father has passed away. Therefore, we will not prolong our celebrations today." As his teammates gathered to support Attamah, it was decided to end the celebrations early.
