GALATASARAY'S STATEMENT ON UNILATERAL TERMINATION

In a statement made by Galatasaray to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that 'the contract will be terminated unilaterally in the event of betting content being shared':

"Our contract is with the news site meritking.news... There is a very clear clause in the contract. We have the right to unilaterally terminate the contract if this site shares any illegal betting, gambling, or similar content in any way."

While discussions regarding the Yellow-Red club's agreement continue, a flash move has come from the Spor Toto Organization Presidency.

According to the report by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, the Spor Toto Organization Presidency has filed a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding Galatasaray and Adana Demirspor, as well as the websites where betting is conducted under the name MeritKing.

"The criminal complaint filed for Galatasaray is related to the jersey back advertisement, while the criminal complaint filed for Adana Demirspor is related to the stadium LED board advertisement. Spor Toto has requested an investigation into the connection between the websites where betting is conducted under the name 'MeritKing' and the advertised news site."
