Critical meeting at the summit of football has concluded!

The Union of Clubs meeting, attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak and Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Mehmet Büyükekşi, has ended.

Minister Osman Aşkın Bak and TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi were present at the meeting held at the TFF National Teams Hasan Doğan Camp and Training Center in Riva. The meeting was attended by Fenerbahçe Club and Union of Clubs President Ali Koç, Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek, Beşiktaş Club President Hasan Arat, and Fatih Karagümrük Club President Süleyman Hurma, as well as other club presidents.

Speaking after the meeting, Ali Koç said, "We would like to thank our esteemed minister. We had requested a meeting during our previous discussion. We arranged the meeting in less than a week. Here, we comprehensively evaluated the fundamental problems of football, the refereeing institution, and its economy. It would not be an exaggeration to say that we reached a conclusion at the meeting that we can solve the fundamental problems of football."

''IF THERE IS A PROBLEM, WE WILL SOLVE IT TOGETHER''

Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi also took the floor, stating, "It was a very good meeting. We are a big family. It is very important for all stakeholders of this valuable family to be in dialogue with each other. If there is a problem, we will solve it together. We will take ownership of both success and failure together."

Mehmet Büyükekşi also added, "We need to start preparing now to reach the championship in the European Championship that we will host. Likewise, we need to support the clubs representing our country in Europe for the country coefficient. I believe that our entire football family will become even stronger and achieve success in 2024."

Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak evaluated the meeting and gave a message of unity: "It was a good and valuable meeting. It was a comprehensive meeting regarding the problems of all sports and football. We brought the TFF and the Union of Clubs together. Valuable opinions were put forward. The problems we have experienced in recent weeks have shown that we need to stand shoulder to shoulder and emerge from this strongly. Our people love football. We believe that we can solve these problems by talking. There are some legal demands, there are some economic demands. We will evaluate them all. We will come together with our stakeholders frequently. We are together, we are united."
