Date set for Süper Lig and 1. Lig broadcasting tender

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced the schedule for the new broadcasting rights tender for the Trendyol Süper Lig and Trendyol 1. Lig. Accordingly, the tender will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2027.

Prior to the tender process, TFF President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu and club presidents met at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva. The meeting addressed preparations for the broadcasting rights for the 2026-2027 season and subsequent seasons.

During the meeting, sales and marketing strategies aimed at increasing the international visibility of Turkish football and collaborations that could increase the clubs' broadcasting revenues were evaluated. Additionally, broadcasting revenues in leading football nations were examined comparatively.

Following the meeting, a roadmap for the new broadcasting tender was determined, and it was reported that the tender committee would meet at 15-day intervals until January 13, 2027.

In addition to Hacıosmanoğlu, the meeting in Riva was attended by Clubs Association and Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan, 1. Lig Football Clubs Association and İstanbulspor President Ecmel Faik Sarıalioğlu, Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı, Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek, Başakşehir President Göksel Gümüşdağ, and Göztepe Honorary President Mehmet Sepil.

Galatasaray Deputy President Abdullah Kavukcu, along with TFF Deputy Presidents Mecnun Otyakmaz and Fuat Göktaş, were also present at the meeting, which was attended by members of the federation's management and administrative staff.
