Debt burden eases at Fenerbahçe: New figures announced

Fenerbahçe held its Extraordinary Elective General Assembly Meeting at the Chobani Stadium Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex. General assembly members gathered for this critical meeting where the presidential election and the club's future strategies were determined. Following the election of the council board at the opening of the meeting, activity reports and audit committee reports for two separate periods were presented.

Audit Committee Member Hulusi Kesgin shared details regarding the club's financial situation with the participants. According to the information provided by Kesgin, the short-term debt amount between June 1, 2025, and September 21, 2025, during Ali Koç's presidency, was 18 billion 939 million liras. The long-term debts for this period were recorded as 9 billion 771 million liras. Thus, the total debt for the period in question reached 28 billion 710 million liras.

In the subsequent period, covering the presidency of Sadettin Saran between September 22, 2025, and February 28, 2026, short-term debts fell to 17 billion 205 million liras. It was stated that long-term debts also decreased to 8 billion 997 million liras during the same dates. Within this framework, the club's total debt was announced as 26 billion 202 million liras.
