Decision on candidacy from Ahmet Nur Çebi at Beşiktaş!

Beşiktaş is preparing to head to an Extraordinary General Assembly on December 3. Following the 3-2 defeat against Lugano, head coach Şenol Güneş resigned, and the board of directors decided to hold elections.

According to the report on NTV Spor; Ahmet Nur Çebi will not be a candidate in the extraordinary general assembly to be held on December 3. Having shared his decision with the members of the board of directors, Çebi will make an official statement shortly.

Ahmet Nur Çebi, who came to office through an extraordinary election following the resignation of Fikret Orman in October 2019, has occupied the presidential seat for 4 years.

HASAN ARAT IS A CANDIDATE

Hasan Arat and Emre Kocadağ, who are preparing to run for candidacy, have begun their work. Serdal Adalı, one of the former board members, has not yet made his decision.

Arat had announced on his social media account that he would be a candidate.

KOCADAĞ HAS BEGUN CONTACTS

Kocadağ, who serves as vice president in the current administration, has begun his pre-election contacts following Çebi's decision not to run.

The extraordinary general assembly at Beşiktaş Club will be held on December 3. The signatures of 250 general assembly members are required for candidacy. Approximately 20 thousand black-and-white congress members have the right to vote in the election.
