Denial from George Gardi: 'I will initiate legal action'

Agent George Gardi, who has been a key figure in many of Galatasaray's recent transfers, has responded to the allegations made against him.

Here are the statements from Gardi, who was alleged to want to be the sole authorized agent for the yellow-red club's transfer operations:

"I feel the need to clarify the numerous reports in the Turkish media that have mentioned my name recently. Unfortunately, none of the information provided has the slightest grain of truth; my name is being used solely for the purpose of defamation. I have given my lawyer full authority to initiate legal action against anyone using my name to smear me and manipulate public opinion."
