Departure at Fenerbahçe: Officially announced

Fenerbahçe has announced that board member Sertaç Komsuoğlu has resigned from his position at his own request and that Hamdi Akın has been appointed in his place.

In the statement made by the club, the following expressions were used: "Our Company Board Member Mr. Acar Sertaç Komsuoğlu has resigned from his board membership, which he has held since 21.06.2023, at his own request on 02.08.2024. It has been decided by our Company's Board of Directors to accept his resignation from the Board of Directors; to appoint Mr. Hamdi Akın as a member of the Board of Directors in accordance with Article 363 of the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, to be submitted for the approval of the first General Assembly to be held, to fill the vacancy created by his resignation; and for the committee membership held by the resigning board member to be fulfilled by the newly appointed member."

On the other hand, the club also announced that another board member, Simla Türker Bayazıt, has also stepped down and has been replaced by Nezih Barut.

In the statement made by the club, the following expressions were used: "Our Company Board Member Ms. Simla Türker Bayazıt has resigned from her board membership, which she has held since 29.07.2022, at her own request on 02.08.2024. It has been decided by our Company's Board of Directors to accept her resignation from the Board of Directors; and to appoint Mr. Nezih Barut as a member of the Board of Directors in accordance with Article 363 of the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, to be submitted for the approval of the first General Assembly to be held, to fill the vacancy created by her resignation."

Sertaç Komsuoğlu was serving as the member responsible for the Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball branch, while Simla Türker Bayazıt was responsible for the Fenerbahçe Women's Volleyball branch.
