English Premier League side Manchester United has terminated the contract of Spanish footballer Sergio Reguilon, whom they had signed on loan from Tottenham at the beginning of the season.
In a statement released by Manchester United, it was announced that the contract termination clause for the 27-year-old left-back, who was signed on a one-year loan last August, has been activated and that Reguilon has returned to Tottenham.
Reguilon, who grew up in the Real Madrid youth academy, has also played for Spanish teams Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, in addition to Tottenham.
