Süper Lig head coach Fatih Tekke has announced his resignation from Alanyaspor following the team's 0-0 away draw against Bodrum FK in the 11th week of the league.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Tekke stated that while he felt they played with superiority, the final 30 minutes of the game were a disappointment for him.

Noting that their opponent was reduced to 10 men and played with 9 men for a few minutes, Tekke said:

"Even then, we could not execute what we wanted. It is as if the players have a desire to play spontaneously. But they never do this with bad intentions. However, in the end, I cannot say that taking one point away from home is bad for a team in our situation. Looking at the course of the match, as a coach, I saw that there was a blockage. I never want to be the cause of this, and I never will be. That is why I have announced that I am leaving my post. It has been exactly one year for us at Alanyaspor. It is a place where very beautiful days and very successful days have passed. I worked with very valuable players and met very valuable people. Therefore, it has become a place that has left a mark in my memory and in my heart. From now on, I wish whatever is best for the community and for our Alanyaspor. We will try to continue with our lives."
