Fenerbahçe's Djiku received a yellow card after an incident with Galatasaray's Torreira in the 12th minute of the match. The two players faced each other again in the 21st minute. Referee Arda Kardeşler interpreted Djiku's challenge on Torreira as a foul and showed Djiku his second yellow card, sending him off. 

While the incident in question caused controversy in the sports community, a striking post came from Fenerbahçe.

Fenerbahçe's social media account started Monday morning with derby posts following last night's match, and a jab was also directed at Lucas Torreira.
