Derby warning to Fenerbahçe from Rıdvan Dilmen: They will struggle a lot without Fred

Rıdvan Dilmen evaluated Fenerbahçe's away victory against Kayserispor and Galatasaray's home win against Fatih Karagümrük. Speaking about the derby, Dilmen focused particularly on the red card received by Fred.

Stating that Fenerbahçe struggled more than expected, Dilmen said, "Fenerbahçe needs to think about why they cannot protect the score." Rıdvan Dilmen suggested that the fate of the Süper Lig depends on the derby to be played on Sunday evening and touched upon Fred's red card.

Dilmen said, "If you asked who the fans would be most upset to see missing from the derby squad, 99.99 percent of them would say Fred." Regarding Fred's red card, Dilmen said, "Whatever Galatasaray wanted and whatever Fenerbahçe didn't want happened," adding, "We missed out on the Fred-Torreira matchup."

"THEY DISPLAYED A MEDIOCRE PERFORMANCE"

Stating that Galatasaray displayed their most mediocre performance in official matches this season, Dilmen said, "Karagümrük was the team that challenged Fenerbahçe the most in Kadıköy. Today, they challenged Galatasaray a lot as well." Dilmen also said that Kerem, Mertens, Ziyech, and Icardi can no longer physically handle the matches and emphasized that the blocks between these players and the defense were disconnected.

Praising the performance of Günay Güvenç, Rıdvan Dilmen stated that Okan Buruk saved Zaha for the derby and said, "I think he did the right thing."
