Diego Simeone: 'I will return to Italy'

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone made statements ahead of their Champions League quarter-final match against Borussia Dortmund.

In his statement, Simeone said, "I have a contract for a few more years, so I cannot give a date, but one day I will return to Italy. I had good times there. I learned a lot at Catania."

Touching upon the Inter match, the Argentine manager stated, "Eliminating Inter allowed us to realize that we can go even further in this difficult tournament and how strong we are."

Diego Simeone played for Pisa, Inter, and Lazio in Italy. In 2011, he served as the manager at Catania.

Atletico Madrid and Dortmund will face each other on Wednesday at 22:00.
