Dinamo Zagreb President Velimir Zajec has placed an advertisement in the newspaper Marca with the aim of signing their former player Luka Modric. It was announced that this advertisement was also shared on the club's social media account.

Luka Modric joined the Dinamo Zagreb youth academy in 2001, signed a professional contract a year later, and transferred to Tottenham in 2008 for 22.5 million euros. After playing for Tottenham for four years, Modric moved to Real Madrid for 35 million euros and is now nearing the end of his contract with the Spanish club.

It was stated that Velimir Zajec placed the ad in Marca to win Modric back and that this move was also shared via the Dinamo Zagreb club's social media account.

According to NtvSpor, which cited the newspaper Marca, there is a possibility that Modric will continue with Real Madrid, but MLS and Saudi Arabian teams are also being shown as options for a transfer. Modric has been wearing the Real Madrid jersey for 12 years and has won a total of 23 trophies with the club, 5 of which are Champions League titles.
