Beerschot, a team in the Belgian second division, announced that Dirk Kuyt has been appointed as the team's head coach until the end of the season.
Speaking to the club's official website, 43-year-old Dirk Kuyt said, "I am looking forward to starting this new challenge with great energy and enthusiasm."
Beerschot is currently in second place in the Belgian second division with 32 points. Dirk Kuyt previously managed ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands.
