Vatan Party Chairman Doğu Perinçek made statements during a program he attended on TV100.

Regarding the question, "The club is looking for money for the Osimhen transfer, and you have acted as an intermediary," following his recent visit to Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Özbek, Perinçek stated, "I brought our president Dursun Özbek together with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China. In all likelihood, major Chinese firms will become sponsors for Galatasaray."

Perinçek added that he would also conduct similar meetings for Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş.


THEY MET RECENTLY

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ankara, Liu Shaobin, met recently at the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex Rams Park.

In his statement, Özbek said, "The honorable Ambassador visited our club today. I bid him welcome. We had a very productive meeting together. Our main goal here was to exchange ideas on how we can develop sports and cultural cooperation between China and Galatasaray. Our consensus is as follows; we both emphasized the need to work harder to further develop this cooperation. Following this visit, I will visit both the Embassy and the Consulate, as well as China itself.

Within the framework of our contacts there, Galatasaray is taking on a mission to grow cooperation for both Galatasaray and our fans in China, and to ensure cultural exchange between the two countries. Our contact will continue. We currently have a Chinese basketball player. I told the honorable Ambassador; it will be possible to further develop this cultural cooperation by exchanging football players and athletes in our other branches. I thank the honorable Ambassador very much for his visit, I am very pleased. I will also visit them."

Liu Shaobin said, "First of all, I am very pleased to visit the Galatasaray Sports Club. Galatasaray Sports Club is a sports club that is very famous not only in Turkey but also in the world. It also has quite a lot of followers from China. We just had a nice meeting with the President. We had good discussions about how much the cooperation between the two countries in the field of sports will contribute to bilateral relations. We also talked about how we can have more concrete cooperation in the field of sports between the two sides. Cooperation between the two sides can be continuously strengthened.
