In a statement released by the Brazilian Football Confederation, it was announced that an agreement has been reached with 61-year-old Dorival Junior to replace Fernando Diniz, who had been serving as the team's interim head coach.
The Brazilian manager, who has previously coached teams in his home country such as Atletico Mineiro, Athletico Paranaense, Santos, Cruzeiro, Coritiba, Internacional, Vasco da Gama, Fluminense, and Palmeiras, most recently managed Sao Paulo last year.
