Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek spoke about the claims that the yellow-red club had reached an agreement with Bayern Munich player Jamal Musiala.

It had been suggested that Galatasaray, which continues its efforts during the summer transfer window, would add Musiala to its squad, though the club had previously denied these claims. In his statement, Özbek also indicated that the player is not on their agenda.

Speaking to Sabah, Özbek said, "Musiala is not on the agenda. They create such agendas. I face the same things every year. People always ask, 'Where are the transfers, what is happening?' In the end, we make the transfers and become champions, as we have for 4 years." he stated.

Commenting on the fact that transfer rumors are trending on social media, Özbek said, "I am never influenced by social media pressure. I know what I am doing." he said.

Emphasizing that Galatasaray continues its transfer planning, Özbek stated that squad efforts are being carried out with the 10+4 rule in mind. Özbek added, "Of course we will make transfers, everyone will see. I won't leave it undone. We have player scouting and plans. We know how we will do it." he said.

The president of the yellow-red club stated that they are not acting hastily in the transfer process, "We do not deviate from the path we know to be right. We are moving forward on our path. Did I say I wouldn't make any transfers? Some are staging the same play, we are used to it. Everyone is talking, but don't they know the 10+4 rule? We are proceeding according to a plan." he declared.
