Dursun Özbek to Ali Koç: What he did will not go unpunished!

As the echoes of the eventful derby continue, Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek made statements regarding the derby and the championship race.

'MAY IS ALWAYS OURS'

Speaking to Sözcü, Özbek said, "Galatasaray plays to win every match. Yes; relegation and championship calculations can be made, but Galatasaray is never involved in such arithmetic calculations. We have only one goal: to go out on the pitch and get the best result... Even in its most difficult times, Galatasaray has said 'May is ours' and has shown this to everyone, friend and foe alike. Speaking about the events that occurred after the derby, Özbek stated, "The banditry committed by Ali Koç and his cronies that day will not go unpunished; I want to say this clearly. First, refrain from coming to watch the match, then try to raid an empty stadium with armed men and bodyguards. Enter the pitch and attack people. There can be no such banditry! Our club took legal action that same night."

Özbek continued as follows;

"Indeed, we have seen the results. We are doing whatever is necessary in the strongest possible way and following the process. Soon, you will all see that this banditry—no matter who commits it—will not go unpunished."

'BEING USED AS ELECTION MATERIAL'

The colleague we had assaulted is lying in the hospital. The fact that even this situation is being used as election material is extremely disturbing. We need to be in unity and solidarity. I have things to say about this as well, but I am avoiding disrupting our community's concentration. When the time comes, we will speak too.
