The Argentina round of the MotoGP, the most important organization in motorcycle racing, has been cancelled due to the economic crisis in the country.
In a statement from the organization, it was stated, "Due to the current circumstances in Argentina, the event promoter has communicated that they are currently unable to guarantee the services required for the Grand Prix to take place in 2024 in accordance with MotoGP standards. We hope to see the Termas de Rio Hondo stage take place in 2025."
The statement also noted that there will be no changes to the 2024 calendar following this cancellation and no new additions will be made to the schedule.
