The first day of the extraordinary elective general assembly, which will be decisive for the change in management at Fenerbahçe, is taking place today. The congress, which will be held on June 6 and 7 at the yellow-navy club, is drawing attention as a platform where both decisions that will shape the club's future will be taken and the new president will be elected.
In the opening session to be held today, the management and audit board reports for two separate financial periods will be read and submitted for the approval of the members. Hakan Safi and Aziz Yıldırım will address the general assembly members to both evaluate the current situation and explain their own projects.
On June 7, the second day of the elections, members will go to the polls to cast their votes. According to the statement made by the club, the number of members eligible to vote has been determined as 44,741; this means it could be one of the highest-participation elections in the club's history.

The board of directors lists of the candidates participating in the presidential race at Fenerbahçe have also been announced. The names on Aziz Yıldırım's primary management list are as follows: Barış Göktürk, Mahmut Uslu, Nihat Özbağı, Mustafa Çağlar, Önder Fırat, Cihan Kamer, Fatih Öztürk, Batuhan Özdemir, Tanju Kaya, Murat İman, Özgür Peker, Yusuf Buğra Tanık, Mehmet Aydın, and Selim Kosif. The substitute list includes Fatih Aslan, Volkan Akan, Mustafa Aydın Acun, Barış Karagöz, Savaş Adalet, Demre İşcan, and Yasemin Babayiğit.
The other candidate, Hakan Safi's primary management list includes Ali Aytemiz, Metin Doğan, Agah Ruşen Çetin, Metin Sipahioğlu, Dağlarca Çağlar, Rahmi Mertay Türk, Mustafa Ömer Topbaş, Özgür Özaktaç, Atakan Altınbaş, Orhan Turan, Selahattin Süleymanoğlu, Ogün Doğan, Şanser Özyıldırım, and Taha Gökberk Doğan.
