According to the information provided by the black-and-white club, an MRI scan performed at the hospital following the pain the 25-year-old footballer felt during the Göztepe match revealed bleeding and a partial tear in his right hamstring tendon.

Emirhan Topçu was forced to leave the pitch in the 70th minute of the Trendyol Super League match against Göztepe due to the injury. It was stated that his treatment has begun following the examinations.

Beşiktaş's medical team is continuing their efforts to ensure the player returns to the pitch as soon as possible. However, this news stands out as a significant absence for the coaching staff ahead of the challenging Galatasaray match.

The statement from the club read: “Following an MRI scan at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, it was determined that our footballer Emirhan Topçu, who could not continue the game after feeling pain in his right hamstring during the 70th minute of our Football A Team's Trendyol Super League match against Göztepe, has bleeding and a partial tear in his right hamstring (Biceps Femoris) tendon. Treatment for Emirhan Topçu has been initiated by our medical team.”
