Engin Baltacı: I know what Beşiktaş needs
Engin Baltacı, who announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Beşiktaş Council of Trustees, introduced his list and explained his projects. Emphasizing that change is essential in the black-and-white community, Baltacı said, "I know what Beşiktaş needs."

Beşiktaş Council of Trustees presidential candidate Engin Baltacı met with members of the press at a meeting held at the White Pepper Restaurant located at Tüpraş Stadium.
Engin Baltacı, who previously served as a board member, press spokesperson, and second president in the black-and-white community, explained his plans and projects to the attendees.
Interpreting the community's problems under two main headings, Engin Baltacı said, "As you know, I am a candidate in the upcoming Council of Trustees presidential election at our Beşiktaş. I was born in Beşiktaş. I attended primary and middle school in Beşiktaş. After attending Kuleli Military High School, I graduated from the military academy and finally from law school. I served in various roles within the Beşiktaş Club in 2010 and between 2022-2023. I know Beşiktaş well. I also know what it needs. I learned this not by hearing or reading, but by living it. We have two main projects. The first is to return Beşiktaş to its traditional, founding settings and entrust it to the generations after us. The second is to reconcile the innovations that have emerged today with the traditional structure of our club. At the forefront of these, as you know, is Law No. 7405. The Beşiktaş community has concerns stemming from the industrialization of football. These issues are mostly regulated by the Football Inc. (Futbol A.Ş.). This situation stands before us as the priority problem that the club needs to overcome," he said.
"EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE"
Stating that their priority is to strengthen the bond between the Board of Directors and the Council of Trustees, Baltacı said, "Could the aforementioned problems have been solved earlier? Yes, they could have been. However, the council president who has been in office for the last 8 years, let alone solving the problem, chose the path of creating chaos and becoming part of the problem. I suffered a lot from this during my time as an executive. Together with my friends, we are candidates to fix this situation. We cannot suffice on our own. I invite all our Council of Trustees members to be with us. We will establish communication between the Board of Directors and the Council of Trustees without delay. We will achieve this all together. My word is the word of a soldier, a lawyer, and a Beşiktaş fan. Everything will change, friends. Change is essential. Everything will change at Beşiktaş," he stated.
