Ergin Ataman, head coach of the Turkish Men's National Basketball Team and Panathinaikos, has been shaken by the news of his mother Gülten Ataman's passing. Gülten Ataman's funeral will be held on Wednesday at the Zincirlikuyu Mosque in Istanbul, following the afternoon prayer, and she will be laid to rest at the Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
In a statement released by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF), it was stated: "We have learned with deep sorrow of the passing of Gülten Ataman, the mother of our Men's National Team Head Coach Ergin Ataman. As the Turkish Basketball Federation, we wish God's mercy upon the deceased and offer our condolences to her precious family and loved ones."
