Erik ten Hag: 'We will be better'

In his statement, Erik ten Hag said, "I cannot play the football I played at Ajax here. There are different players. That is why I came here with a possession-based philosophy. We saw that last year, we played very good football. This season, our philosophy is a bit different."

Stating that they are not considering transfers, Ten Hag said, "We have a strong dressing room, a strong squad, and a strong coaching staff. I have full confidence in the players. We have seen before how well these players can play. It is up to me to make them better. Our squad is good and I am not thinking about transfers. We will play better when our injured players return."
