Ertuğrul Doğan on Fatih Tekke: There is not the slightest problem between us

Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan stated that there are no problems with head coach Fatih Tekke at the burgundy-blue club. In his statement regarding recent discussions, Doğan emphasized Tekke's identity as a native of Trabzon and a Trabzonspor supporter, noting that the situation was an emotional reaction.

Doğan expressed that Fatih Tekke acted out of sadness following a defeat, saying, "We spoke with him. He is already aware that this was wrong. We are continuing on our path. We do not have any problems."

President Doğan also sent a message to the fans, stating, "My dear fellow Trabzonspor supporters can rest easy; there is not the slightest problem between us in any way."

TRANSFER AND EUROPEAN GOALS

Touching upon transfer efforts, Doğan noted that Trabzonspor has added important players to its squad. Stating that there are no easy matches in Europe, Doğan expressed that the burgundy-blue team now has a strong squad structure.

Clearly stating the Conference League goal, Doğan said, "Our goal is the top of the Conference League. To be frank, our goal in this league from this point on is to be at the top. We will go as far as we can."

Stating that work on a forward transfer is ongoing, Doğan said that because Fatih Tekke was one of Turkey's most important strikers in the past, his expectations for this position are high. Doğan expressed that they are focusing on names that both have development potential and can contribute to the team, adding, "Unless there is a setback, it looks like it will be a young player."

Evaluating criticisms regarding the club's transfer policy, Doğan argued that some circles are uncomfortable with Trabzonspor's moves. Reminding that two young players were sold last season, Doğan said that players with sales potential such as Aral Şimşir, Saviolo, and Cabral were added to the squad in their place.

Doğan also stated that experienced players like Mohamed Salah, Fabinho, and Malinovsky will lead the team and contribute to the development of young players. Calling Fabinho a "very important world star," Doğan expressed his belief that the Brazilian player will be beneficial to Trabzonspor.

President Doğan emphasized that the community must remain united, drawing attention to the importance of maintaining the atmosphere of solidarity from the beginning of the season. Doğan said, "Our goals are very big. I believe with all my heart that this atmosphere will take us to a very different point."
