The 'Fairies of the Court' complete their preparations

Our A National Women's Basketball Team has completed their training sessions at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece, where they are participating in the 2025 FIBA Women's EuroBasket.

The training session, held under the guidance of head coach Ekrem Memnun, lasted approximately 1.5 hours. The national team focused on tactical drills and concluded the session with shooting practice during the final portion open to the press.

Our crescent-and-star team, which will compete in Group A, will face France in the tournament's opening match on Wednesday at 17:30. Later that same day, at 20:30, host nation Greece will face Switzerland. These matches will be played at the Peace and Friendship Stadium.

The national team, set to take the court against their strong opponent France in the tournament's first match, is ready for the challenge with the confidence of having completed their preparations.
