Farewell message from the TFF to Selçuk Şahin, the new head coach of Eyüpspor

A National Team Assistant Coach Selçuk Şahin will take over as head coach of Süper Lig side İkas Eyüpspor starting next season. Şahin, who was serving as an assistant to Vincenzo Montella, has left his position at the Turkish Football Federation due to this new role.
Selçuk Şahin achieved significant success during his time with the A National Team. With his contributions, Turkey qualified for the 2024 European Championship by finishing top of its qualifying group and reached the quarter-finals in the tournament held in Germany. He also played an important role in the team's promotion to League A in the UEFA Nations League.
The Turkish Football Federation included the following statements in the farewell message it published for Selçuk Şahin:
"We wish our A National Team Assistant Coach Selçuk Şahin, who wore our A National Team jersey 25 times during his active playing career and was part of the team that finished third in the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup, endless success in his new journey as a head coach, and we offer our thanks for his contributions during his tenure at the Turkish Football Federation.
