Following the Turkish Football Federation's (TFF) referral of 448 officials identified as having placed bets within the last 5 years to the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK), a statement has been issued by Fatih Karagümrük.
The names Burhan Genç, Yusuf Güzel, Selim Uçar, Emre Uçar, Kadir Uçar, Metin Bozyiğit, and Gürkan Karaboğaz, who were associated with the Istanbul representative in the referral list, were included.
In the statement made by the club, it was stated that the individuals shown as "Fatih Karagümrük official" on the list have no direct or indirect relationship with the club's management.
Within the scope of the betting investigation conducted by the Turkish Football Federation, the individuals shown as officials of our club have no direct or indirect connection or relationship with the Fatih Karagümrük Sportif A.Ş. Club Management.
The statement indicated that the referred individuals are officials of the Karagümrük Association and the Supporters Association. The club also reported that the association in question does not carry out any sporting activities.
