Fatih Tekke reveals players on the agenda for departure ahead of Ferencvaros match

Trabzonspor manager Fatih Tekke made statements ahead of the UEFA Europa League play-off round match against Hungarian side Ferencvaros. The manager of the claret-and-blue team emphasized that their goal is to reach the group stage and stated that they want to leave the first leg with an advantageous result for the return match.

Tekke pointed out the opponent's strengths and noted that they view the match as the first step of a two-legged tie. "We want to qualify for the Europa League. We have a good opponent. It will be a difficult match. We want to go into the next match with an advantage," said Tekke, expressing that they aim to leave the pitch with the desired result with the support of the fans.

Touching on the team's squad structure, Tekke stated that they have a wider and more usable group of players compared to last season. Mentioning that the squad has been strengthened with the addition of Batagov, Muci, and Tim, as well as one more player, Tekke noted that they still need time to find their rhythm.

The claret-and-blue manager emphasized that the team needs to progress match by match in all competitions at the beginning of the season. Tekke underlined that the first 4-5 match period is particularly important for the team to find its rhythm.

Fatih Tekke also provided information regarding the players whose departure from the team is on the agenda. Tekke announced that in addition to Mendy, Dragus, and Lundstram, it is also a possibility that one more player will be sent out on loan.

Tekke stated that the players are training with the team during this process, saying, "It's not just Mendy; there were times we gave them permission, thank you to them. Mendy, Dragus, Lundstram, and we even have one more player. We have a situation where we might loan that player out as well. We are training with 3-4 of our players. Because of UEFA criteria. Stating that Ferencvaros is a valuable team that deserves respect, Tekke said that transfer spending alone does not explain the quality on the pitch.
