Fatih Terim catches up to the top with Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos, managed by head coach Fatih Terim, defeated Asteras Tripolis 2-0 in the league.

In the 19th week of the Greek Super League, the goals that brought victory to the green-and-white team were scored by Aitor in the 50th minute and Tin Jedvaj in the 74th minute. Samet Akaydın, who was signed by Panathinaikos on loan, entered the game in the 86th minute. 

Following this victory, Panathinaikos leveled the points (44) with the leader, PAOK.

The green-and-white team under Terim's management will be the guest of PAOK away from home on Sunday, January 28.
