The following statement was included in the post shared on the Galatasaray sports club's social media account:
"An event was held at Galatasaray Island to mark the 50th anniversary of our legend, the 'Emperor' Fatih Terim, signing his first contract with Galatasaray.
The organization was attended by Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Aydın Özbek, Fatih Terim and his family, as well as our Board Members and their families.
Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Aydın Özbek presented the Terim family with the document of the decision taken by our club's Board of Directors regarding Fatih Terim's transfer 50 years ago, in commemoration of the day."
