Fatih Terim defeated in his first league match in Saudi Arabia
Fatih Terim, who recently took charge of Saudi Arabian league side Al Shabab, was defeated 3-2 by Al Ahli, where Merih Demiral plays, in his first league match.

Al Ahli and Al Shabab faced off in the 14th week of the Saudi Pro League. Al Ahli took a 1-0 lead against Al Shabab with a goal from Ivan Toney in the 45th second.
In the 13th minute, the home team extended the lead to 2 with a goal from Veiga, and Fatih Terim's side went into the locker room trailing 2-0. Starting the second half quickly as well, Al Ahli brought the score to 3-0 with Balobaid finding the net in the 48th minute.
Al Shabab reduced the deficit to 2 with an own goal by Merih Demiral in the 72nd minute, and with Aljuwayr finding the net in the 90+5th minute, the 90 minutes ended with a 3-2 victory for Al Ahli.
With this result, Terim left his first league match with a defeat.
Fatih Terim had defeated Al Fayha 2-1 in the King's Cup in his first match in charge of Al Shabab.
