Panathinaikos, one of the teams in the Greek Super League, has announced that they have reached an agreement with head coach Fatih Terim.

In a statement on the club's website titled "Welcome Emperor Fatih Terim," it was noted that "The best Turkish coach is taking charge of the team immediately."

The statement, which shared details regarding Terim's career, included the phrase, "We welcome Fatih Terim to the Panathinaikos family."

Fatih Terim will travel to Athens on Wednesday to sign an official 1.5-year contract that will make him the manager of Panathinaikos.

Panathinaikos, which has not won the league title in Greece since 2010, currently sits in second place, 1 point behind league leaders PAOK, with 15 weeks of the Greek League season completed.
