Fenerbahçe announces 'loss'
Fenerbahçe has reported a loss of 764 million TL for the 12-month period ending May 31, 2025. The club, which posted a profit of over 2 billion TL in the same period last year, announced in its filing to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that its short-term liabilities exceed its current assets by 7.5 billion TL.

Fenerbahçe Sports Club announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it incurred a loss of 764 million 627 thousand 102 TL for the fiscal period ending May 31, 2025. In the same period last year, the club had reported a profit of 2 billion 149 million 86 thousand 389 TL.
According to the statement, as of May 31, 2025, the club's short-term liabilities, excluding "other receivables from related parties," exceeded its current assets by 7 billion 567 million 56 thousand 185 TL. In 2024, this difference stood at 5 billion 666 million 912 thousand 385 TL.
The following statements were included in the KAP notification:
“The loss for the period ending May 31, 2025, amounted to 764,627,102 TL (May 31, 2024: 2,149,086,389 TL profit). As of the same date, short-term liabilities exceed current assets by 7,567,056,185 TL (May 31, 2024: 5,666,912,385 TL), excluding ‘other receivables from related parties.’ The Group’s equity as of the same period is negative 1,189,534,513 TL (May 31, 2024: negative 1,430,226,298 TL). As of May 31, 2025, the amount of the Group’s short-term bank loans is 868,103,403 TL (May 31, 2024: 908,784,872 TL).”
