Fenerbahçe announces Marcus Bingham

The Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team has strengthened its roster by signing a two-season deal with American big man Marcus Bingham Jr.

The yellow-navy team has announced the signing of American player Marcus Bingham Jr. to bolster their center position. Bingham Jr. will wear the Fenerbahçe jersey for the next two years.

In a statement released by the club, it was noted: “Our Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team has reached a 2-year agreement with American center Marcus Bingham Jr. (2.13m - 2000), who most recently played for Unics Kazan.

The 24-year-old basketball player, who competed for Michigan State University in the American College League between 2018 and 2022, played for the Israeli team Hapoel Haifa in the 2023-24 season. Later moving to Hapoel Holon, Bingham Jr. joined the Hapoel Tel Aviv roster in November 2024. After experiencing a EuroCup victory in 2025, the big man spent the following season in the Russian League with Unics Kazan, where he drew attention with averages of 15.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.4 steals in 54 games.

Regarding their new signing, Fenerbahçe stated: “We wish this agreement to be beneficial for our Club and Marcus Bingham Jr., and we wish our player, who will fight for the success of our Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team starting from the 2026-27 season, many successes in our striped jersey.”
