In the 3rd week of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Fenerbahçe Beko faced off against Greek representative Panathinaikos on their home court. The Yellow-Navies started the match with a starting five of Nick Calathes, Marko Guduric, Dyshawn Pierre, Nigel Hayes-Davis, and Johnathan Motley.
The visiting team took the floor with Kostas Sloukas, Jerian Grant, Marius Grigonis, Juancho Hernangomez, and Mathias Lessort. The home team closed the first period with a 27-9 lead, thanks to points from Johnathan Motley, Nick Calathes, and Marko Guduric. The Yellow-Navies maintained their superior play in the second quarter, heading into halftime with a 43-28 lead. Capitalizing on their offensive opportunities in the third period, Fenerbahçe finished the quarter ahead 67-45. The Yellow-Navies maintained their dominance in the final period, winning the match 83-69. For the home team, Johnathan Motley was disqualified in the final quarter after committing his 5th foul. With this result, Fenerbahçe secured their second victory in the EuroLeague, while Panathinaikos suffered their second defeat.
For Fenerbahçe, Georgios Papagiannis with 15 points, Johnathan Motley with 14, and Marko Guduric and Nick Calathes with 12 points each played significant roles in the victory. For Panathinaikos, 19 points from Mathias Lessort and 13 points from Kyle Guy could not prevent the defeat.
