Fenerbahçe Executive Can Gebetaş: All meeting records should be released

Fenerbahçe Board Member Can Gebetaş made a statement regarding the footage from the Galatasaray-Antalyaspor match broadcast last night. Gebetaş stated, "We hereby inform the public that we want all meeting records of this and similar nature made throughout the season to be published."

The statement is as follows:

A necessity has arisen to make a statement regarding some footage that came to the public agenda via social media last night.

This content, which we understand to be a referee evaluation meeting, is a snapshot of the injustice that has not ended for seasons, which we have been trying to explain for years, and the incredible events experienced this season.

As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, we have stated many times that non-standard decisions on and off the pitch directly affect the fate of the Süper Lig, and we have been experiencing this for seasons.

The footage that came to the public agenda yesterday shows once again that Turkish football is being dragged into a major deadlock and quagmire.

Referees are influencing the fate of the league and the course of the season with non-standard decisions made under influence and pressure; those responsible are not only content with watching this disaster but are also preparing the ground for this formation, and the rights and dreams of clubs that invest in and put effort into football, as well as millions of fans, are being consumed.

The Central Referee Board did not assign the referee of the relevant match for only 1 week, and the VAR official for 2 weeks.

The match referee was rewarded with 3 matches after only a 1-week break, and the VAR referee also started to take on duties again starting from the 30th week.

The VAR referee for our Kasımpaşa match played in the 27th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig has not been given an assignment by the Central Referee Board for 3 weeks.

The mentality that we have been trying to explain by shouting for so many seasons continues to arbitrarily design this season as well.

We are calling out to the Turkish Football Federation from here,

we hereby inform the public that we expect a statement on this matter and that we want all of the relevant footage, and indeed all meeting records of this and similar nature made throughout the season, to be published.
