Fenerbahçe expresses support for Ertuğrul Karanlık

Fenerbahçe has responded to criticisms directed at club doctor Ertuğrul Karanlık.

Fenerbahçe's statement is as follows:

"At our club, treatment processes are managed professionally under the supervision of our club doctor, and in consultation with domestic and international experts depending on the nature of the injuries. All of our players have the right to consult other experts regarding their conditions, beyond the club's recommended treatment program. Since the beginning of the season, the diagnosis and treatment periods for injuries, the majority of which occurred as a result of impact, have been carried out within the projected limits, and none of our players have felt the need for treatment outside the club.

On this occasion, we would like to emphasize that our club's trust in our doctors and our medical team is complete. We expect our fans not to take into account the unrealistic statements made by former players and some commentators, which have come to the fore and created an agenda, especially in recent days. Considering the past communities of the aforementioned commentators and former players, it will be clearly seen what purpose the agenda they are trying to create aims to serve.

Protecting our team from such speculations, attacks, and lies aimed at disrupting the inner peace of our team and our community, which are focused on seasonal goals, is one of our community's most important responsibilities. For this reason, we kindly request that these speculations not be taken seriously."
