Fenerbahçe had objected: Galatasaray's defense regarding Osimhen
Following Fenerbahçe's complaint to the Turkish Football Federation regarding the arm guard worn by Osimhen, Galatasaray officials have issued a statement concerning the safety of the equipment.

Fenerbahçe Club has officially applied to the Turkish Football Federation, stating that the arm guard equipment Victor Osimhen wears during matches poses a risk to player health due to its rigid structure. The yellow-navy team claimed that this guard could create a danger during physical challenges on the pitch.
Following the application, the Galatasaray side responded to the allegations. The yellow-red club underlined that there is no health risk associated with the protective equipment used by Osimhen.
Galatasaray officials stated that the exterior of the protective layer is completely covered with a soft tissue and that the material inside is of the same standard as that used in Victor Osimhen's face mask. The statement emphasized that the guard does not have any features that could harm the athlete or their opponents in terms of safety.

Furthermore, in the defense presented by the yellow-red side, it was noted that the guard used by Osimhen is even softer and more flexible than the one worn by Fenerbahçe's Edin Dzeko last season. Club officials declared that this equipment does not constitute an obstacle to the player being on the field.
