The 6th week of the Süper Lig will host a massive derby. Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, both starting the season with championship goals, will face off in Kadıköy.

Ahead of this important match, the yellow-navy team warned its fans about black market tickets in a statement released on its social media account.

The statement made by Fenerbahçe included the following:

'Information Regarding the Black Market Before the Derby Match

Our club's determined fight against black market ticket sales continues ahead of the Fenerbahçe – Galatasaray match.

In this context; as a result of the identifications made regarding those who post advertisements with high figures through unofficial sales channels and enable 3rd parties to enter the match illegally by sharing their season ticket seats and match entry data (QR CODE), season ticket cancellations have been carried out.

The cancelled season tickets will be released for general sale as match tickets for future matches.

Legal proceedings will continue against those who sell tickets in a black market environment to 3rd parties in violation of Law No. 6222 on the Prevention of Violence and Disorder in Sports, or who are detected entering matches with other people's Passolig cards; this practice will continue until the match kickoff time.

The black market is a crime. Our stance will continue with determination to prevent illegal activities in football, to hinder the black market, and to ensure that our fans, whose goal is to support our Fenerbahçe, can access match tickets at official sales prices.'
