Fenerbahçe leaves qualification hopes to Istanbul: 3 goals in a competitive match

In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, Fenerbahçe, managed by Jose Mourinho, faced Feyenoord, led by Robin van Persie, away from home. The host team won the match played at De Kuip Stadium 2-1.

Feyenoord's first goal was scored by Quinten Timber in the 19th minute. Fenerbahçe's goal found by Youssef En-Nesyri in the 41st minute was disallowed due to offside.

While the first half ended with Feyenoord leading 1-0, there were no goals for a long time in the second half. When the clock hit the 86th minute, Sofyan Amrabat scored the goal that brought the equalizer for Fenerbahçe. In the 90+1st minute, Hadj Moussa scored the goal that brought victory back to his team for Feyenoord.
