Fenerbahçe makes a move regarding Kerem Aktürkoğlu following the eventful derby

The repercussions of the eventful Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray derby, which ended in a 1-0 victory for Fenerbahçe, continue. Fenerbahçe has filed a complaint against Kerem Aktürkoğlu with the TFF Legal Consultancy. The Legal Consultancy has begun reviewing the complaint. If any criminal elements are found, both individuals will be referred to the PFDK shortly.

Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe regarding the incidents that took place during the derby played between  new developments continue to emerge.  

Fenerbahçe club, Galatasaray player Kerem Aktürkoğlu's referral to the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) has been initiated.

Sports Digitale Editor-in-Chief Yağız Sabuncuoğlu shared the following on his social media account:

Fenerbahçe has filed a complaint against Kerem Aktürkoğlu with the TFF Legal Consultancy. The Legal Consultancy has begun reviewing the complaint. If any criminal elements are found, both individuals will be referred to the PFDK shortly."

Releasing a statement on its official website regarding the matter, Fenerbahçe Club included the following remarks. 

"Following our match played away against Galatasaray on Sunday, May 19, 2024, a complaint was filed today with the Turkish Football Federation Disciplinary Inspectorate regarding the insults uttered by opposing team player Kerem Aktürkoğlu in the locker room corridors. We will be closely monitoring developments regarding this matter. We present this to the information and attention of the public."
