Fenerbahçe responds to 'illegal betting sponsor' allegations

The statement made by the yellow-navy club is as follows;

It has been determined that our club's name and corporate identity have been used without our knowledge or consent on three different websites belonging to an illegal betting platform, which falsely presents said platform as an "official sponsor" of Fenerbahçe Sports Club.

Fenerbahçe Sports Club has no sponsorship agreement, commercial relationship, or cooperation with the company in question or any other illegal betting platform.

Following the unauthorized and misleading use of our club's name and corporate identity, a criminal complaint has been filed against those responsible with the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Within the scope of the initiated legal process, the Prosecutor's Office immediately began the necessary examinations and investigations, and access to the relevant websites was promptly blocked by the decision of the Istanbul Anatolian 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace, dated 23.09.2026 and numbered 2026/10330 D. İş. The legal process regarding the matter is being meticulously followed by our club, and all necessary legal actions are being carried out expeditiously.

As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, we would like to inform the public that while we maintain our determined stance in the fight against illegal betting, we will in no way tolerate the association of our club's name, crest, and corporate identity with such activities that are contrary to the fundamental values of sports and our understanding of social responsibility.
