Fenerbahçe Club has announced that a 2-year contract has been signed with head coach Domenico Tedesco.

The statement released by Fenerbahçe included the following:
"Our New Head Coach Domenico Tedesco: Domenico Tedesco has been appointed as the Head Coach of our Club's Professional Football A Team.
The coach, with whom an agreement has been reached to sign a 2-year contract, will be assisted by one of our former captains, Gökhan Gönül, who wore our striped jersey for many years.
Details regarding the signing ceremony for our new technical staff will be shared at a later time. We present this to the public's information."
