Fenerbahçe, which hosted RAMS Başakşehir in the 32nd week of the Trendyol Super League, left the match with a 3-1 victory. With this result, the yellow-navy team maintained its claim in the title race, reducing the point gap with the leader Galatasaray to 4 points with two weeks remaining.
Following the match, former referee and sports commentator Ahmet Çakar claimed that a fistfight had occurred between former manager Domenico Tedesco and the players.
Following the claim that dominated the agenda, an official statement was made by the Fenerbahçe side.
The statement is as follows:
"All of the allegations voiced by Ahmet Çakar on the Sky Spor YouTube channel are baseless and a product of imagination.
All of the allegations regarding the events claimed to have taken place between our technical staff and our players in the aforementioned statements are untrue.
We kindly request that these baseless allegations, which aim to mislead the public, not be given any credence; we also inform the public that the necessary legal processes regarding these statements will be initiated."

WHAT DID AHMET ÇAKAR SAY?
Ahmet Çakar said, "It is said that there was a fistfight between Ederson and Tedesco. I saw a bruise here on Tedesco (pointing to above his eyebrow with his hand). The information I received is that Ederson punched Tedesco, that others intervened, and that İrfan Can was sent away because of this; I am not sure if there was a fight or punches there."
Ahmet Çakar also stated that Ederson could not be excluded from the squad within the club after what happened: "After that, they are already covering it up; 15 minutes later they say 'Ederson is injured, he is not available next week.' They cannot say 'I am firing Ederson,' they do it if they are forced to. They cannot exclude Ederson from the squad, then Tedesco gets sick, he gets the flu."
