Fenerbahçe has begun preparations for the upcoming season. On the 343 Digital channel, İbrahim Seten announced that Fenerbahçe will increase its stadium capacity.
Here is what İbrahim Seten stated:
“Fenerbahçe is expanding the stadium. It currently has a capacity of 50,000. Hamdi Akın, one of Turkey's major contractors, will break ground as soon as the season ends. He has said that he will have the stadium ready by September. Fenerbahçe will miss the matches in August. The capacity will be increased to 65,000. This means a 33 percent increase. At the same time, this means that regardless of the outcome, Ali Koç wants to continue next year.”
