In the 22nd week of the Süper Lig, league leaders Galatasaray are hosting the bottom-placed team, Adana Demirspor. The yellow-reds took a 1-0 lead in the match with a penalty goal scored by Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.

In the 30th minute of the match, Adana Demirspor players walked off the pitch.

A statement from Fenerbahçe came after the match:

Here is Fenerbahçe's statement;

"With your irregular contracts, black-market tickets, and illegal betting advertisements, you continue to deceive our State and the Turkish Football Federation,

With your guided media members and insincere statements, you continue to deceive the public,

With your players who have been acting to deceive for years, you continue to mislead referees and football fans!

Thanks to you, there is neither trust nor justice left!

But you are always the most innocent and the victim!

Congratulations, look at what you have done to Turkish football!"
