Fenerbahçe's new signing Sidiki Cherif is in Istanbul
French footballer Sidiki Cherif, with whom Fenerbahçe is in transfer negotiations, has arrived in Istanbul.

Continuing its transfer efforts, Fenerbahçe has made an addition to its forward line. In this context, the yellow-navy club has reached an agreement with Sidiki Cherif, who plays for the French Ligue 1 team Angers. The 19-year-old footballer landed in Istanbul on a private flight from Paris to advance transfer negotiations. After passport control, the French footballer entered the city with his family through the General Aviation Terminal at Atatürk Airport. Fenerbahçe Board Member Taner Sönmezer accompanied the young player.
The French footballer, who was welcomed by a group of Fenerbahçe fans with chants, later left the area in a vehicle waiting for him at the airport.
Sidiki Cherif will sign a 4.5-year contract with Fenerbahçe after undergoing a medical examination.
