FIBA Women's World Ranking released: What is Turkey's position?
The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has shared its world rankings following the conclusion of the 2024 Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. While Germany and Hungary showed improvement in the rankings, Turkey maintained its 14th place with 405.5 points.

The International Basketball Federation has released its women's world rankings. The top 10 remained unchanged, with the United States at the top, China in second place, and Australia in third, while Spain ranked fourth and Canada fifth. Germany achieved a significant success by qualifying for the Paris 2024 Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament, marking their first-ever appearance in the Olympic Games. Following this success, Germany climbed 6 spots to reach 19th place, entering the top 20.
Hungary also rose five spots in the rankings to reach 16th place.
With the exception of Brazil, every country in the top 10 of the FIBA Women's World Ranking qualified for Paris 2024.
